A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car in North Lindenhurst on Saturday night, Suffolk County police said.

The accident occurred on Straight Path between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Motorcycle parts could be seen scattered on the road.

The male motorcyclist was killed, police said. His identity was withheld pending notification of family.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene, police said.

First Squad detectives were investigating the crash. Further information was not immediately available.
