A vehicle fleeing police crashed into two parked cars in Bay Shore on Wednesday before the driver was taken into custody and arrested, police said.

A person in one of the parked cars was treated for minor injuries, Suffolk police said, but there were no other reported injuries.

The pursuit began near Sunrise Highway and North Delaware Avenue in Lindenhurst at 5:55 p.m., police said, and ended near the Sunrise Highway Service Road and Redmond Avenue in Bay Shore.

Additional information was not immediately made available by police.
