An unidentified man was struck and killed by a car in Ronkonkoma on Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

The man was walking on Ronkonkoma Avenue when a northbound 1999 Infiniti, driven by Angela Jozwicki, 28, of Centereach, hit him just south of the Long Island Expressway South Service Road about 5 p.m., police said.

The victim was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

Jozwicki was not injured, and no charges have been filed in the case. The Infiniti was impounded for a safety check, police said.

Fourth Squad detectives are investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 631-854-8452.
