Cops: Person in custody in Mount Sinai stabbing

Suffolk County police are investigating a stabbing in Mount Sinai on Saturday evening.
Police said the stabbing occurred on Chestnut Street at Route 25A about 6:35 p.m. One person was sent to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said one person is in custody.
Police did not provide further details.
