Cops probe bike-vehicle accident report
Suffolk County police were investigating reports that a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in Bay Shore Monday night.
Police received a call at about 8:30 p.m. from someone saying a bicyclist had been struck, a police spokeswoman said. The accident is believed to have happened on South Clinton Avenue between Linden Place and Prospect Avenue, she said.
No further details were immediately available.
