Cops probe Medford bank robbery

Police are investigating the weekend robbery of a Medford bank.
A woman entered the TD Bank branch at 1806 Route 112 at 10:25 a.m. Saturday and handed a teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk police said in a news release.
"The teller complied with the suspect's demands and gave her money from the drawer," police said in the release. "The woman fled on foot southbound on Route 112."
Police described the robber as a white woman between 5 feet 2 and 5 feet 5 inches tall. She wore a Yankees hat, sunglasses, a dark T-shirt and shorts, police said.
Detectives urge anyone with information about the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
