Cops probe pedestrian hit in Oakdale
A man walking on Montauk Highway in Oakdale late Thursday had minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle, Suffolk County police said.
The man was walking west in the area of the 1200 block of Montauk Highway at about 9:43 p.m. when he was hit by an unknown vehicle that left the scene, police said.
Police said there were no witnesses and they do not have a description of the vehicle.
The man was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was treated for minor injuries, police said.
