First Squad detectives are investigating two Sunday shootings, including one in which a man was shot four times while sitting in his parked car in North Amityville, Suffolk County police said.

At about 9:15 p.m., police said Antoine Demarco, 21, was sitting in his 2002 Chrysler Sebring on Harrison Avenue when an unknown person approached the car and shot him four times, including once in the lower back.

Demarco, who lives on the block, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was listed in stable condition.

First Precinct officers also responded to a report of multiple gunshots in the area of Wyandanch and Wyandanch Park at about 5:41 p.m. However, police were unable to find a victim, according to a news release.

About an hour later, police said Chazeray Johnson, 21, of Lake Drive in Wyandanch, was treated and released at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for a gunshot wound to his hand.
