Police are investigating a possible road rage incident that included a wrong-way driver caught on videotape.

The incident occurred on Veterans Memorial Highway in Holbrook on Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.

Police said the incident involved a driver heading eastbound in the westbound lanes -- and said a video of the incident has been turned over to investigators on the case.

It was not immediately clear what sparked the incident.

News 12 Long Island, which aired the video, reported the driver who took the video said the wrong-way driver lost his temper after both vehicles tried to merge into one lane at the same time.
