Cops: Roslyn Savings in W. Babylon robbed

Suffolk County Police Major Case Investigations Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a Roslyn Savings Bank branch in West Babylon this morning. A man entered the bank, located at 653 West Montauk Highway, at 10:14 a.m. and began shouting demands for money. The man approached several tellers who gave him cash from their drawers. The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall to 6 feet tall. Suffolk County's Major Case Investigations Unit is looking for a masked man who robbed a bank in West Babylon Friday, police said.
A man wearing a black ski mask entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 653 W. Montauk Highway at about 10:14 a.m. and shouting that he wanted money, according to a news release.
The man approached several tellers and they complied with his demands, handing him money from their drawers, detectives said.
Police released a photograph of the suspect, taken from video surveillance cameras at the bank.
He is wearing a black jacket, a gray, hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask, the photograph shows.
Police said the suspect is between 5-feet-10 and 6-feet tall with blue eyes.
