Cops seek Brentwood burglary suspect

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Third Squad Detectives are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the male who took cash from a Laundromat in Brentwood this past October. (Jan. 19, 2011) Credit: SCPD
He entered the self-service laundry through an unlocked door and made off with $600 in cash, Suffolk County police said.
Police have a surveillance photo of the suspect and they are asking for help in finding the man they said burglarized the Fold & Wash Laundret on Suffolk Avenue in Brentwood at about 8 a.m. back on Oct. 26.
Police said the man entered the laundry through an unlocked door, entered the office at the rear of the store and helped himself to the $600 before fleeing on foot.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
