Cops seek car in hit-run that killed Reinaldo Velasquez-Yanes

Suffolk County police are looking for the driver of a silver or gray Mercury Grand Marquis who left the scene early Sunday after a hit-and-run fatality in Huntington Station.
Reinaldo Velasquez-Yanes, 25, of Huntington Station, was struck and killed by the hit-and-run driver on New York Avenue north of East 12th Street, at 3:05 a.m., police said Monday in a news release.
The car, between a 1998 and 2002 model, has damage to its front end and grill, police said.
Velasquez-Yanes was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
