Second Squad detectives are looking for a man who robbed a woman Wednesday of cash after she had made a withdrawal from a drive up ATM at an East Northport bank, Suffolk County police said.

Police believe the same man, before succeeding with the robbery at a Chase Bank, tried to rob a man at an ATM at a Bank of America branch in East Northport.

Detectives have released photographs of the suspect, taken from video surveillance cameras at one of the banks.

In the Chase Bank robbery, the man entered the passenger side of the woman's car after she had made the withdrawal, pretended to have a gun, and then demanded her money, police said.

After taking an unspecified amount of cash, the man ran off, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
