<a href="/topics/Suffolk_County%2C_NY">Suffolk</a> County police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver of the vehicle that struck and killed a man in <a href="/topics/Selden%2C_NY">Selden</a> on Oct. 1. 
 The fatal hit-and-run occurred at about 7:30 p.m. as Marijan Crnkovic was attempting to cross Middle Country Road. 
 The accident was just east of <a href="/topics/Selden%2C_NY">Selden</a> Court, police said. 
 The eastbound vehicle never stopped, police said, and Crnkovic was later pronounced dead at <a href="/topics/Stony_Brook_University">Stony Brook University</a> Medical Center. 
 Police are asking anyone with information regarding the fatal hit-and-run to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. 
 All callers will remain anonymous and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest, police said.
