Cops seek info on stolen Cub Scout trailer

Crime Stoppers and Third Squad detectives are trying to find out who stole a Cub Scout pack's equipment trailer from a parking lot in Islip, Suffolk County police said Thursday.
Cub Scout Pack 370 of Islip reported its equipment trailer stolen Jan. 19, police said.
The trailer, which stored camping equipment, supplies, banners, flags and 40 years of Cub Scout mementos, was taken from the lot of Marconi Manor Caterers on Commack Road and Moffitt Boulevard between Jan. 16 and Jan. 18.
Police released a photograph of the missing trailer, which is painted gray on silver, with signage from its previous owner, Boy Scout Troop 439 in Ronkonkoma.
The 1985 United 12-foot model has a New York registration number BA90915.
The Cub Scout pack had purchased the trailer from the Boy Scout troop in August.
