Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Third Squad detectives are looking for a man who broke into a North Bay Shore restaurant in December, police said Wednesday.
Suffolk police released photographs of the suspect who used pieces of wood to open the back door of the Pollo Campero restaurant at 1665 Fifth Ave. at about 5 p.m. Dec. 7.
The photographs, which also show a bicycle that police said might be connected to the incident, were taken by video surveillance cameras at the store.
The suspect damaged a cash register at the front counter, police said. A police spokeswoman could not say if the man got any cash from the register.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
