Call him "The Bicycle Bandit." Which is probably better than "The Makeup Man."

Suffolk County police are asking for your help in finding a man who stole cosmetics from a West Islip Rite Aid store - and fled on what police said was a silver bicycle.

The first robbery took place at the Rite Aid on Union Boulevard on May 20. The man stole $400 worth of cosmetics then, police said. Police said he tried again on June 27 but was caught trying to leave the store with more than $300 worth of goods. He dropped the bag, ran - and fled on the bike.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
