Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Squad detectives are looking for a suspect in an August pitchfork attack in Deer Park, Suffolk County police said.

Police Monday released a photograph of Angel Santos, 35, who has been identified as a suspect in an assault on a 31-year-old man.

On the morning of Aug. 31, Santos hit the victim on the head and left shoulder with a pitchfork. The victim had abrasions and swelling from the attack; he was treated at a hospital and released, police said.

Santos' last known address is on 22nd Street in Wyandanch, police said, and he also is known to "frequent places in Huntington Station."

He was arrested in October 2011 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and several traffic violations, police said. The case is pending.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
