Crime Stoppers and Second Squad detectives are looking for a man who tried to use two counterfeit credit cards to make a purchase at a Huntington Station department store, Suffolk County police said Friday.

Police released a photograph of the suspect taken from surveillance cameras at the Lord & Taylor store in the Walt Whitman Shops at 158 Walt Whitman Rd.

At about 8:53 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2011, the suspect presented the cards for a purchase, police said. When he was asked for identification, he left the store and left the cards behind, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
