Suffolk County police are searching for the man responsible for the sexual assault of a woman who was walking on a Brentwood street last week.
A woman was walking on Grouse Drive on Feb. 13 about 9 p.m. when she was allegedly approached by a man who spoke to her in Spanish.
The woman ran away, falling on ice in the roadway. The man sexually assaulted the woman and fled the area, police said.
The man was described as being 5-foot-6, chubby, between 30 and 40 years old with a full black mustache and thinning black hair. He was wearing a brown Carhartt jacket with blue jeans and work boots, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
