Cops seek to ID pedestrian killed in Copiague

Police are seeking the identity of a woman struck and killed by a car late Tuesday on Sunrise Highway in Copiague.
Police said the driver, identified as Lisa Eskenazi, 33, of East Islip, was driving a 2011 Honda Odyssey eastbound on Sunrise when she struck the victim.
Eskenazi, who remained at the scene, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with minor injuries.
Her minivan was impounded for a safety check, police said. Eskenazi was not charged.
Police ask anyone with information about the crash -- or, the identity of the victim -- to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
