Police released more information Friday on the car that struck the pedestrian at 10:26 p.m. on Udall Road.

The car, believed to be a blue late-model Chrysler 300, would have incurred damage to the driver's side headlight assembly and the driver's side-view mirror, police said.

Police are not releasing the age or identity of the teenager, who was found lying unconscious on the road after the crash.

The teen was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Islip, where he was listed in critical condition. Police declined to update his condition Friday.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477 or the Third Squad at 631-854-8352. All calls will be kept confidential.
