Cops: Silver Alert issued for man who went missing in Huntington

Suffolk County police issued a Silver Alert on Wednesday for a Greenlawn man who has dementia.
Alfred Tobias, 61, of Paumanack Village Drive, was last seen at Community Market, 108 Depot Rd. in Huntington Station, police said.
He is about 5-foot-10, 180 pounds and was wearing a purple hoodie, gray pants and dark green sneakers when he walked away from the market, police said.
The Silver Alert program is designed to inform local media, hospitals and law enforcement agencies when a person with mental or cognitive disorders is missing.
Anyone who has more information regarding Tobias can call 911 or the Second squad at 631-854-8239.
