The brothel waiting room featured a television and complimentary candy, police said, and the traffic was somewhere between 30 and 90 men daily, at $30 each for services.

After several weeks of surveillance, Southampton Town police and the Suffolk Sheriff's Office shut down the brothel on Vail Avenue in Riverside Saturday night, arresting six people - among them two two men operating the house, two prostitutes and two male clients, authorities said.

All were foreign nationals living in the United States, police said.

The brothel took in as much as $2,700 a day, police said.

Arrested and charged with third-degree promoting prostitution were Manuel Lopez-Garcia, 23, of Moriches and Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Francisco Isreal Gonzalez-Chavarria, 36, of Hampton Bays and Mexico Distrito Federal, police said.

Two women - one, 23, from Union City, N.J., and Toluca, Mexico; the other, 22, of Queens and Chilpansigo Guerrero, Mexico - were charged with prostitution. Two men -a 33-year-old from Riverhead and Guatebrala, Guatemala, and, a man, 24, from Hampton Bays and Atlixco (Puebla), Mexico - were charged with patronizing a prostitute.

Arraignment details were not immediately available.
