A Southold man has been arrested on charges of shooting another man in the neck with a rifle, police said.

Southold Town police said they have charged Ryan Lademann, 26, of Southold with second-degree assault in the shooting Saturday night.

Police said they received a 911 call on Saturday around 9:45 p.m. from a residence on Pine Neck Road.

When they arrived at the home, they found Lukasz Pasko had been shot in the neck with a rifle, police said.

Police could not immediately say how seriously Pasko was injured.
