Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the individuals who police said returned an item stolen from a vehicle in Kings Park to a store in Stony Brook for a refund. (Nov. 12, 2012) Credit: SCPD

Crime Stoppers and the Fourth Precinct Crime Section are trying to determine who stole electronic devices from a parked car in Kings Park and then returned one of them for a refund, Suffolk County police said Tuesday.

The electronics included including two global positioning systems, a cellphone, CDs and a DVD player, with receipts, police said, and were stolen at about 11 p.m. Nov. 12 from a vehicle parked on Longfellow Drive in Kings Park.

Police said the DVD player was returned the next day at the P.C. Richard & Son store at 2229 Rte. 347 in Stony Brook.

Police on Tuesday released photographs of at least two suspects taken from video surveillance cameras at the store.
