Cops: Suspect stole generator, tried to steal another from Huntington Station store

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Friday they are looking for a man who stole a generator in July from a Huntington Station power equipment store and then tried to do it again last month.

On July 31, the suspect took a generator on display in front of A&T Power Tools, 515 E. Jericho Tpke.; on Sept. 4, a man fitting the same description attempted to steal another generator from the same business, police said.

Police on Friday released photographs of the suspect taken from the store's video surveillance cameras.
