Cops: Suspect stole keys, then car in Kings Park
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Squad detectives are looking for a man who stole a purse from a Kings Park bar and then used keys from the purse to drive off with a Nissan Altima, police said Thursday.
The car, taken on Jan. 1 from a parking lot near the Celtic Bar, 83 Pulaski Rd., was recovered a short time after being taken, police said. But the suspect kept the purse containing a wallet, credit cards and an unspecified amount of cash.
Police Thursday released a photograph of the suspect taken from video surveillance at the bar.
