A 19-year-old Flanders woman who was stopped for not wearing a seat belt Saturday evening turned out to be high on marijuana, police said.

Ashley M. Reardon was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and driving while ability-impaired by drugs, as well as with a seat belt infraction, after being stopped Saturday at 5:42 p.m. at an undisclosed location, Southampton Town police said. Arraignment information was not available.

Police said a search of the vehicle Reardon was driving found more than two ounces of marijuana and subsequent tests determined she was "under the influence" of the drug.
