Cops: Trio charged in North Lindenhurst burglary
Three Brentwood men were arrested Sunday night in a North Lindenhurst home invasion, police said.
The men, one armed with a handgun, forced their way into a Feustal Street home at about 10:30 p.m., where they "stole cash and cellphones from a resident and the resident's friend," Suffolk County police said in a Monday news release. Neither victim was injured, police said.
The suspects fled on foot and First Precinct and canine police officers found them a short time later at an undisclosed location, police said.
Jeffrey Artiles, 18, and Yamil Miesesulerio, 24, both of 126 Brentwood Pkwy., and Jonathan Sanchez, 26, of 186 Commercial Blvd., were each charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, police said. Artiles also was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
The three men are scheduled to be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Central Islip.
