Cops: Two charged in burglary spree

Two men will be arraigned Sunday morning in First District Court in Central Islip on charges in a string of burglaries dating back to September, Suffolk County police said.
Chanin Dennis, 44, and Arthur Henderson, 53, both of Central Islip, were arrested Saturday and are charged with six counts of third-degree burglary, police said.
Authorities said the two suspects are connected to the following burglaries: Sept. 22 at a BP gas station in Deer Park; Oct. 28 at JG Deli in Bay Shore, and Nov. 5 at a Citgo gas station in Bay Shore.
Others include a Nov. 28 Express Hero Shop burglary in Bay Shore; Dec. 2 at Ella's Market in West Sayville, and a Jan. 12 burglary at a Citgo gas station in Patchogue, police said.
Officers said forensic evidence led them to the two men. Suffolk police also say they're working with Nassau County Police regarding burglaries in Lynbrook, Valley Stream and Bellmore.
