Cops: Two charged with DWI in Hamptons

Two men were arrested and charged with drunken driving in separate incidents less than a half-hour apart Monday, Southampton Town police said.

Thomas Erb, 28, of Holbrook, was stopped for speeding on County Road 39 in Southampton at 2:31 a.m. and found to be intoxicated, police said.

Esteban Rojas, 24, of Hampton Bays, was stopped on Flanders Road in Hampton Bays at 2:58 a.m. Police said he also was intoxicated.

Both men were charged with driving while intoxicated and were held for arraignment Monday in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
