An early morning poker game ended with shotgun blasts that injured two men in Copiague, Suffolk police said.

Luis Tejada-Pena, 37, and Juan Marines, 43, both of North Amityville, were playing cards in a garage at 55 Daly Pl. at 1:55 a.m. when two unknown people wearing all black, including black hooded sweatshirts, approached, police said. When Tejada-Pena and Marines tried to hold the door closed, the intruders shot three times through the door, according to police. The suspects then fled on foot.

Tejada-Pena and Marines were treated for nonlife-threatening injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
