Police responding to a 911 call of shots fired on the basketball courts at Wyandanch Park Sunday night found two men who had been struck in the head by bullets -- but said neither wound was serious.

The shooting was reported at about 7 p.m.

Suffolk County police said the wounded men are Irvin Noak, 27, of Bellport, and Davone Knight, 33, of West Babylon, and said both suffered "non-life-threatening injuries to the head." Both men were treated at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and were later released.

Police are searching for the shooter -- or, shooters -- responsible for the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
