Cops: Two wounded in Wyandanch shooting
Two men were shot in Wyandanch Thursday, and each took himself to a different hospital for his wounds, Suffolk police said.
The two, both 24, were standing with others on Davidson Street, near Troy Avenue, when they were hit by bullets about 12:50 p.m. police said.
One was wounded in the arm, and he drove to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, police said.
The other was wounded in the shoulder, and he drove to St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, police said.
Both men are from Wyandanch and their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
No other details were released.
