A vehicle hit a fire hydrant Friday morning on Senix Avenue in Center Moriches, sending a geyser of water into the air, police said.

It happened at 3:11 a.m. just south of Montauk Highway, near Cynthia Lane, Suffolk County police said.

There were no reported injuries, and police said other details were not immediately available.
