Cops: Wheatley Heights man charged with DWAI after crash
A Wheatley Heights man was arrested, charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, after crashing his car into a utility pole early Monday in Wyandanch, Suffolk County police said.
Kahlil Dunn, 31, of 40 Foothill Pl., was charged with DWAI / alcohol after the crash on Little East Neck Road at 12:51 a.m., police said. Police said Dunn, who was alone in the car, was not injured. He was arrested at Little East Neck Road and Long Island Avenue, police said.
He faces arraignment Monday in First District Court in Central Islip.
