A Remsenburg woman was arrested Monday in Easport and charged with driving while intoxicated after she struck a pedestrian in the parking lot of a restuarant, police said.

Southampton Town police said Karen Stevens, 61, was charged with DWI following the accident at 8:48 p.m. in the parking lot of Trumpets.

Police said the victim was airlifted to Stony Brook University Medical Center suffering from head trauma. The extent of those injuries was not immediately known, police said.

Stevens was to be arraigned Tuesday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
