Cops: Woman dies in Manorville car crash

A Selden woman died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in Manorville, Suffolk police said.

Mary McGovern of Coronet Court was pronounced dead at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead shortly after the crash, police said.

McGovern was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt north on County Road 111 near Halsey Manor Road about 5:20 p.m., police said, when her car crossed over the median and collided with a southbound 2005 Nissan Murano.

Daniel Muscara, Jr., 60, of Manorville, the driver of the Murano, was treated for minor injuries at Peconic Bay hospital.
