Cops: Woman robs Deer Park bank

A woman robbed a Deer Park bank Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

She entered the Capitol One bank at 1831 Deer Park Ave. at 1:50 p.m., police said, and told a teller that it was a robbery.

After getting the money from the bank drawer, the robber left the building, walking north across the bank parking lot, police said.

She is a woman in her 40s, of medium build, 5 feet 8 inches tall, police said. She was wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a black windbreaker, gray sweatpants, white sneakers and clear rubber gloves, police said.
