Cops: Woman stole acquaintance's $1,200 necklace
A 36-year-old Flanders woman is under arrest, charged with stealing a $1,200 diamond and gold necklace from an acquaintance earlier this month, Southold Town police said.
Lynn M. Danowski, of 46 Nash Ave., was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny Monday. Police said she stole the necklace from a home in Southold on Jan. 11. Danowski also had two active warrants issued in Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
