A 53-year-old employee slammed his car into the side of the Huntington Station store where he works -- shattering a huge glass window and then crashing through an interior wall Friday morning, police said.
The driver told investigators he was parking his Toyota at about 9 a.m. at N&S Electrical Supply on East Jericho Turnpike when he "hit the gas instead of the brake," Suffolk County police said.
The driver, who was not charged, was transported to Huntington Hospital as a precaution, police said.
Additional information was not immediately available.
