Coram man dies in single-car crash, Suffolk police say

Suffolk County police said they are investigating a single-car crash in Coram early Wednesday that killed the driver.
Christopher Burgos, 38, was driving alone in a 2009 Infiniti on Margaret Drive when the car “left the roadway and struck a utility pole and tree south of Beach Lane at approximately 1:50 a.m.,” police said in a news release.
Burgos, 38, of Mastic Boulevard in Mastic, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
