Suffolk County police are trying to locate a 14-year-old girl who investigators believe ran away from her home in Coram last month in the company of her former baby-sitter.

Yamila Guerrero, of Hawkins Path, was last seen on Sept. 9, police said. Her parents reported her missing on Oct. 2.

Police said detectives believe Guerrero may be traveling with her former baby-sitter, who they said goes by either Katherine Aleman or Katherine Aleman Martinez. Foul play is not suspected, police said.

Anyone with information about the situation is asked to call 911 or Sixth Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.
