Police have identified a Dix Hills woman who was killed Friday evening in a three-vehicle crash.

Suffolk police said Donna Locicero, 63, was driving a 2019 Nissan SUV, heading west on Vanderbilt Parkway near Village Hill Drive in Dix Hills, when she crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with a 2006 Honda sedan driving east shortly before 5:30 p.m.

Police said one of the cars then crashed with a 2017 Volvo SUV, which was also driving east on Vanderbilt Parkway.

Locicero was declared dead at the scene by a Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s physician assistant, police said.

A father and daughter in the Honda, Nirmal Rai, 78, and Aneeta Rai, 34, both of Dix Hills, were taken by ambulance to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, police said.

The driver of the Volvo was not injured, police said.

Police impounded the vehicles for the investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Second Squad at 631-853-8252.
