A Farmingville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Shirley Sunday night, Suffolk police said.

Iran Palmer, 38, was driving a 2015 Infiniti Q50 south on William Floyd Parkway, just north of Robinwood Drive, at about 10:15 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, struck a metal guardrail and overturned multiple times, according to police.

Palmer, the only occupant in the car, died at the scene. The Infiniti was impounded for a safety check, police said.
