A 77-year-old man was injured Saturday after he lost control of his car and crashed into two homes in Hauppauge, Suffolk County police said.

Police responded to the crash on Dale Court around 3:30 p.m., officials said.

The man's vehicle struck two parked cars before crashing into two homes, according to police.

Police did not identify the driver, who was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported and police did not say whether the homes were occupied at the time of the crash.

The Islip Town building inspector was notified about structural damage to both residences, police said.
