Crash in Huntington seriously injures motorcyclist, cops say

A motorcyclist was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries Friday after his bike collided with a car in Huntington, Suffolk County police said.
The identity and condition of the motorcyclist was not immediately known.
Police said the crash occurred at 7:55 a.m. on Park Avenue.
A photo from the scene showed a mangled bike on its side, as well as skid marks in the road. The road remained closed between Broadway and East Pulaski Road for the investigation, police said.
