DOT: Crash temporarily closes westbound Sunrise service road
An accident closed the westbound service road of Sunrise Highway Monday afternoon on the border of West Babylon and North Babylon, state officials said.
The service road was closed between Route 231 in North Babylon and Hubbards Path in West Babylon, according to informny.com, the state Department of Transportation website.
Police did not have immediate information about the crash, which happened shortly before 1 p.m.
