Police respond to 2-vehicle crash in Yaphank

Authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash Friday night in Yaphank, Suffolk County police said.
A police spokeswoman said the crash happened at 8:40 p.m. on Patchogue-Yaphank Road between Long Island Avenue and the westbound Exit 66 of the Long Island Expressway.
No additional information was immediately available, including whether there were any injuries or the types of vehicles involved.
